The LCY-JFK 318s are a pretty small group though. Maybe something to do with babies ?

How about naming some of the flagship routes like the railways used to ? e.g. Flying Scotsman, Master Cutler. Which routes though ? My warped mind associates JFK-LHR with nylon ...
Size of fleets - hmmm, maybe differentiate between the hi and lo J 744s, the RR and GE powered 772s, the 773s and be picky with the 321/320/319 sub-divisions. As pointed out, the 318s fit easily into thir own mini-series.

How about naming them after FTers?
Who would be best suited for which route?*

Pucci Galore, for the glamourous routes, etc

*(Yes, I know, before anyone feels the need to point it out, that airframes do not have designated routes...)
