The chance of a heavy snow/ice storm in eastern PA at that time of year is small. The chance of such a storm affecting travel the 29th and 30th, specifically, is vanishingly small. It's not Buffalo with its lake-effect snow. It's not a western slope of the Rockies/Sierras/Cascades with epic snowfalls. If you can get your segments with SDC earlier in the month, fine. If you need the PA segments for Diamond qualification, do yourself a favor and book a mainline aircraft. Yes, I understand that rules out ABE.
