For the last two months that I have been monitoring the fares from the NYC area to HNL for March 2012, there have been no sales at all. Do you know when those typically come up, maybe around Thanksgiving, Christmas or just after New Year?

I am thinking that if I buy from AA.com now, I will get 2x AA points toward MM as my AA Exec Mastercard statement will post before 12/1. Not sure if the risk is worth it though, if $400-$500 sales might show up.
