Nor sure if it is the same on UA.com but on CO.com you can look up a reservation using the record locator and then save it to your OnePass acount so that it will be there the next time you look. This is helpful when booking tickets on UA.com that have a MileGe Plus number but not a One Pass number associated with them. Also, you can apply your upgrade certificates to traveling companions once their reservation is listed in your account. I find it more convenient to do this electronically rather than calling.
