I did it recently on the hop from MEL to AKL. Horrible, never again. Compared to Air New Zealand on a 9 across 777 on the way back there was no contest. I'd always pay extra to not be on EK!
I did CHC-SYD on EK in J and it was excellent...one of my best flights ever. I like EK very much even down the back on a 777. I think they have been great for keeping other airlines on their toes.
EK start an EZE service in January but I can't see myself using them unless I want to go to DXB for some crazy reason.
