In honour of hopefully Etihad getting its own forum, I think its appropriate to start a non-rev thread! It is very timely as I just flew SYD-AUH last week and before the flight was handed to the airport there were TWO first class passengers. When I boarded the first class section was full. I know at least 4 of the passengers were staff because I could hear them behind me in the first class line. What really angered me slightly is that they were often served first. What is Etihad's staff flying privilege? Is it as generous as US airlines? I'm sorry but even with the relatively good first class fares Etihad offers, I don't really appreciate having a full first class cabin when its mostly full of staff (who seemed to get service priority over me).
