I waited until Christmas morning to open the box that was waiting for me after I returned from my SFO-BOS-MIA-IAH-SFO odyssey of the last two weeks. Inside were these four great gifts:

* "Hard Landing," a book about the airline industry (cover quote: "A colorful tale of robber barons on the loose")

* My very own copy of "The Airline Passenger's Guerrilla Handbook", which I've wanted a copy of since I first read about it here a couple of months ago

* 365 Days of Duct Tape calendar

* A big roll of duct tape

I sure hope the last two help me keep things togeter next year!
