I think it's the light colored fake wood and the GM parts-bin dashboard. Looks particularly bad; IMO, the Acadia interior looks better, and less pretentious.
That's pretty much my take on it as well. I much prefer the styling of the Acadia, especially if I can get an SLT with leather, over either the Traverse (2nd choice) or Enclave. The Enclave is the "expensive" one of the three (I haven't driven an Outlook yet), but it's the one I like the least in some ways.
