As far as ladies first? Well, yeah, you probably shouldn't discriminate like that even though I don't have a problem with it. Might as well just have a hat with numbers and everyone picks one. But I do agree that AA's FEBO system is the best.
My last flights had a choice of Swanson or Banquet. I don't know if those who got their first choice really won.
