The scanners at security will "reject" a duplicate BP and they are supposed to check your passport (or other ID for domestic). If you make up an excuse (went outside to smoke, etc.) they may overlook checking your ID but I personally wouldn't take those kinds of risks just for lounge access.
That's what I assumed, but it's only quite recently that they started using those scanners and I don't know what happens at other airports. The small airports don't use scanners. I travel too much to consider playing games like that, but it does get you to wondering about the effectiveness of the security system.
