After combing the streets of NYC for a good restaurant that didn't want a HUGE Deposit for reservations, I found a nice place I go to for the big Saturday night NYC F-T dinner:
23 October: 7:45pm (I don't want to deal with the pre-theatre crowds!)
Reservations for twelve!
West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd Street
Confirmed:
*Punki (and guest?)
AnnaS
Burkey
SCL Gal and guest
Flyme2 and Guest
Scott the Flyer
Catman (of course!)
PUNKI: Are you bringing a guest? I was NOT sure.
That leaves at least 2 seats open!!! If anyone else is interested please let me know! I can probably have West Bank add a few more seats, I was assuming this many could come.
West Bank has seafood and pasta dishes (I almost always have the chicken Laganga!)
Zagat, the dining guide, calls West Bank: "Comfy" Theater District "actor hangout" with a "buzzing" ambiance and "moderately priced", "tasty" vs. "ordinary" American fare; after you've "blown your budget on tickets" for Lion King or Ragtime, "you'll be thankful it's near."
The CAT goes here once a month, all the Time Warner people come here. I like the food, and the QUIET (you can actually have a conversation here and not have to shout."
I hope this meets with everyone's approval. This is my P.H.P (Doctorate in Partying!)
