Hi, my wife and I are traveling to Punta del este in a couple of weeks and would like to travel along the coast a bit more. I currently have a reservation for a rental car for one day but was wanting to know if hiring a driver for the day was a legitimate possibility and at what cost? I have very little experience driving internationally and it was all in Germany and Austria. If we can find someone who is reliable and comparable on price for the rental car, I'd prefer to go that route. Does anyone have any experience with this or know who I could contact? I've contacted the hotel we're staying at but have not heard back yet.
