I've had no problem in the past getting seats on an AA-operated BA-coded US domestic flight.
That's the problem, I don't have that AA PNR/reference. I just have the BA one, which apparently is no use to AA. BA said they can't give me the AA PNR, AA say they can't do anything without it.
Maybe I'll have to call them both back and speak to someone else and hope for a better result.
