Hello All - My wife and I each have about 20k miles expiring on China Airlines at the end of this year. We both have enough miles (just over 40k) in each of our accounts for a one way upgrade ticket from economy to business.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to either keep our miles from expiring and/or extend our ability to use our miles/upgrade for next year.

I know there is a way for my wife to grant me an upgrade ticket and for me to grant her an upgrade ticket. I think these upgrades are good for one year. However, we're not sure if we're even traveling to TPE/china next year to even use them and they may go to waste.

Any ideas on what we should do?
