I kid you not.
Pilots eh? In the early 70's I used to take the sleeper train to Brussels (the train that went on the boat & one woke up in Brussels, or Paris). Very civilsed. In the bar (that's how civilised train travel was once) I got talking to a Brit pilot who flew for a Spanish charter airline. He was taking the train to work........because he didn't like flying. No, really!
(Incidentally, I used the sleeper train weekly because I didn't have to leave home and the little ones until 9.15 pm, and got to work in Brussels before 9 am next morning. No fear of flying here).
