I was already Platinum on Continental.

Looking at my Elite Status Progress on CO, I am still in Silver.

Looking at my Elite Status Progress on UA, I am now 18k away from 1k.

I didn't see anything on either website that indicated I hit the 75k mark until I actually flew 75k on United only.
