Yep, no need for passport nor a locker. Just bring what little you do need. If you do snorkeling first thing you can return to the ship then grab anything you'd need to just get some sun. There isn't all that much to do on the island that you can't do better on a real island. Relax, get some sun, buy a few overpriced drinks billed to your room and snorkel.
