It seems to me that everyone values the Hhonors point differently. If saving $200 would vastly improve your trip and you won't have an opportunity to spend them on a higher dollar room, then it is worth it.

For me, it would probably be worth it. For many on FTers it would not. It all depends on whether or not you will have an upcoming opportunity save more dollars per point.
