Only one I've ever run across, and is indeed because of MA law noted above. Must say that the hors d'oeuvres were several steps above the usual on a visit there a couple of weeks ago.
As a non-drinker, I would definitely like to stay at a hotel that spent more on the food and less on the beverages.
