This is *not* how UACO does things, AFAIK.
AFAIK, FAs on UA have manifests that do explain levels of seniority per Pax for MileagePlus tiers and a numerical score printed in the manifest per Pax name.
This allows FAs to absolutely determine which Pax get what perks/services/op-ups, etc.
I flew to LHR on UA a few years ago and both I and a gentlemen in Business inquired about an empty F seat after door closed, and the FA pulled me up saying (as I recall), "You're more senior than he is." I presume she meant MP seniority, and not my age
