I've seen this with the "under 30" crowd of TSA employees; loud boisterous conversations among themselves about inane subjects. I like to stare at them until they notice I don't enjoy feeling like I'm back in the high school cafeteria.
If the TSA was serious about projecting an image of professionalism within their workforce, they would adopt the following work and conduct rules:
- No lounging in areas meant for passengers
- No consumption of food or beverages in view of the public, unless seated in a restaurant or food court area
- No use of tobacco products in view of the public
- No use of cell phones or other personal electronic devices in view of the public
