HHonors rules for Silver and above give access to 'complimentary access to the health club or fitness center during your stay, at hotel owned and operated facilities.'

This is also mentioned on TripAdvisor, with a Silver saying they got access and a previous review of a Diamond complaining.

As usual, management in these hotel's don't respond to reviews that are overly specific or critical.

I would say, you definitely have free access, and if there is a dispute refer to GM or HQ, IIRC Maple Court or I guess, it's VP Ops Orly for France.

I understand the lounge is open on weekends during winter and closed midweek during which they relocate to another room.
