Don't believe they will give you a pre-allocated seat! Here is the reply from Indigo after they gave a way my grandson's "pre-allocated" seat to a CIP:

We regret for the inconvenience caused to you.
With regards to your mail, I would like to inform you that an amount of INR 600 is charged for Indigo plus which has the following benefits:
• Option to select seats in advance.
• Meal comprising of one food item and one non-alcoholic beverage. Customers will have the choice of choosing a veg meal or a non-veg meal.
• 5 kg additional baggage allowance.
Further, I would like to confirm that the amount has been charged for the service which has all the benefits mentioned above and not only for the seat allocation. However, it states that you may select your seat in advance depending on the availability of the seat and
it does not specify any seat numbers.
Thus, we respectfully decline your request as we are not in a position to provide you any waivers. We hope you will understand the need of our policy.
