Not sure if already mentioned on the thread...it goes way back...and with this sort of thing what was true in 2007 isn't always true today. Anyway...I was recently at The Gage and got their regular burger (not the "Gage Burger"). This was a seriously delicious cheeseburger cooked perfectly to medium rare as requested with a huge side of excellent fries. Fluffy brioche bun, aged cheddar, and a healthy (unhealthy?) fat content to the meat. At $10, it's a rare occurence of reasonably priced fare at this enjoyable, but often overpriced, Michigan Ave spot.
