Agreed, but I have some on-site client commitments in Vancouver that I hastily "pushed back" thus would like to maximise the day there if I can. I'll definitely use the MLL as a backup option (virtual office) if I can't get the re-route or confirmed-D seat.

Take AC 401 YUL-YYZ 0700 (403 is full) then you'll be able to hook up with 161 which you can easily stand-by for J class (D class).</font>
Thanks for the kind words & assistance Gazou2002. Seeing as my itin is presently YUL-YVR (direct) is there any "magic" to requesting the YUL-YYZ-YVR routing modification? Or because I'm requesting to go same-day standby on a Biz Award the slight routing modification should be straightforward?

What's my best option at Dorval in the morning? The Ticket Counter, Check-In counter, gate agent, or MLL? I guess I'm trying to be as prepared as possible so I know who to ask & how to ask. The Boy Scout motto "be prepared" has always done me well. &lt;grin&gt;

Thanks everyone for the ongoing suggestions. Still haven't heard from anyone passing through YUL or YYZ in the morning so feel free to speak up if you want to meet up...

Cheers. Dogstar.
