I flew IT in "F" back in 2008 when they were hooked up with NW. Yes, NW priced it as a J trip. Quite honestly, it's been my most memorable redemption so far (haven't done int'l F yet, but have a CX F trip booked for next year) and am glad I'm able to redeem on them through AA. I don't have 360k miles for 2 NA - India/Middle East awards, and it will be a stretch to get there. I am thinking about making my own "around the world" trip, flying out in CX F to CMB (want to visit MLE, India, and KTM) and returning from KTM back to the USA. KTM-DEL-LHR on IT J connecting with BA J back to IAD wouldn't be a bad way to go at all.
