I've been thinking of trying America Eats, the pop-up restaurant being run by Jose Andros in conjunction with the National Archives, specializing in historic American cuisine. But I don't know: a) how hard it is to get a reservation there and b) how conducive the environment is to conversation.
I'm also free on Saturday the 19th. America Eats would be fine with me, but do be aware it's quite pricey, even for lunch. Reservations are substantially easier to get now than when AE first popped-up.
