In the new year there will be a special offer with AirMiles giving you an extra 400 Avios, which are freely convertible to BAEC Avios.

The original rates for conversion were 600 for a normal Tesco account and 800 for a premium Tesco account but this is no longer available. There have been subsequent reductions and an increase to further confuse!

There is a separate BA and Tesco thread which has followed this thoroughly. Also, Paid to Shop has threads discussing this.
