Buying Wizz Air tickets with Cap One online is a crap shoot and that is extremely annoying. I have not had that problem on other LCC's. It seems unique to Wizzair. A couple of years ago, Cap One did not work on Wizz at all. Now it is hit and miss. Sometimes it does and sometimes not. That sucks, since using another card is a crappy option as that then incurs an extra 3% junk fee that other cards charge and Cap One does not.

Every time the Wizz site tells me that my Cap One is ''declined'', I call Cap One and they say that the charge was never even submitted by Wizz. Wizz's site says its card charges are processed by Verified by Visa. Yesterday, I had two transations go through okay from Wizz on Cap One, then on the third got the ''declined'' message. I thought maybe I had triggered some pattern where the bank thought fraud was involved but on calling Cap One found that the third charge had never even been presented by Wizz to them. That is just gross incompetence by Wizz's system or Verified by Visa. Cap One said there was nothing on my account that would have prevented the charge from being accepted IF Wizz had bothered to present it!

I have emailed their customer service to ask what the #@%&* is going on!
