You're surprisingly close. IIRC, the smaller deli cups were introduced by the company when the crewing levels were reduced. It's to avoid too much running back and forth filling the pots and to get the service done on very short flights. Unfortunately, as the company likes the word "Standard", we can't get different sized cups on different SH flights. Thinking about it though, the ickle deli cups holds about the same amount of liquid as a CE cup. Feel free to ask for a top-up though, or even two cups at once
In regards to the sizes of the glasses in Premium cabins, this is all down to stowage and space issues. If we have bigger glasses, we'll have to have fewer of them, which in turn means we'll run out of glasses about half-way through the service. The galleys on all flights are filled to the rafters, so no spare stowages. Top tip: ask for several cans at a time
