Did you ask to speak to his manager (TSM or AFSD or FSD)? In that situation, I assume after you cleared the checkpoint, I would have escalated the issue if time to departure permitted.
On the other hand, I might have just taken out a pen and note pad and asked for his name and badge number as a condition of handing over my boarding pass.
