Most hotel programs have maximum stay limits for point earnings (i.e., 30 day stays) unless you negotiate something specifically.
That problem can be easily solved with a cooperative local hotel manager and simply "checking out" and then "checking back in" all without actually moving out of the room. I've done this several times at different hotels with stays over 30 days.
