I just checked a recent alaskaair.com booking and can confirm that, where before it would have my frequent flyer information listed as "American 111AAA1" it now says "American 111AAA1 - AA Elite". I am flying on the same reservation as Mrs. Microwave, however, so I was already in an exit row and cannot tell whether this would get me exit row independently.
I also am listed as AA Elite and can select exit row seats. However, Mrs Beerup, who is GLD is not recognized and is not afforded the same functionality (traveling on separate reservation to me). The baggage link provided by
Majuki includes GLD for benefit, so I suspect this is just a glitch.
