I have a delta gold that I would like to cancel before hitting annual fees on 11/25. I have actually on previous years paid the annual fee (when i didnt know about CC churning). credit limit is low too and I am now silver medallion, thanks to amex MR transfer bonus. anypoint in upgrading to platinum? higher fee, dont need the companion cert. are upgrades easily grnated than fresh CC apps, i was recently denied by citibank and barclasy for too many recent enquiries but during same time frame granted apps from chase. thanks for your input.
