Because there's dozens of others on the same plane in F/with status who do not try to look so self-important as to stand at the boarding time when the flight isn't even close to boarding, annoying the airline employees and their fellow passengers. ~200k miles across the 3 alliances last year and I've
never crowded the boarding line before the agents call. (Standing around the general gate area is fine, I realise not everybody wants to sit)
