ExpatExp: PHX is a great idea - should be nice and warm? Not sure about Canada - too cold in December. Would rather fly via MIA but that is such a detour. PHX on the other hand, I could fly out on Fri, spend Sat half of Sun in PHX and then go on AA into SFO (or maybe even PHX-OAK since I am going to the East Bay area).
