Infant E-Ticket Reminder!

For all you that book your trip on AC.Com, then call in to book the Infant portion (<2 years old, lap child, have to pay taxes), Reassure that the ticket is actually "ticketed"!

We showed up to YEG to check in for our holiday trip to San Diego yesterday morning.

Tap tap tap went the AC Checkin Agent...."sir your infant doesn't have a ticket...."

W....T..?

The first agent didn't know how to fix it so a more experienced agent spent 20 minutes fixing the issue, we rushed thru YEG Priority Screening (thank god YEG Priority allows families with kids thru), and arrived at the gate just as boarding was about 1/2 way thru.

Now I question if I even called in originally to add my daughter onto our ticket...as I don't recall a charge on my Amex for 12 bucks nor do I remember receiving an e ticket with her name on it...nor did I enter her passport info in the advanced passenger information a few days before we left..

It's our 4th trip with our daughter this year alone to the states so I'm well versed with the procedure...book on ac.com, call in to add, and voila.

Whatever happened, my oversight or AC's computer glitch, lesson learned...RECONFIRM!
