It's time for me to go from London to SFO, in early December - for work. I have done the direct BA flight so many times now I can puke and was thinking I could shake it up a little. All Y travel I'm afraid.

So how can I make it more interesting, staying within OW?

I have tried AA in Y over there and it's worse than BA, also at least with BA as a Gold I have a good chance of an op-up to WT+. I don't have status on AA so I don' think I stand much of a chance of getting op-uped to J.

I thought maybe I would do one sector with IB. They seem to go via ORD, which I really like (can go and get a massage at the xpresspa there). I guess I could also go somewhere different with BA and then catch AA to SFO.

Suggestions for a truly bored pax?
