clublounger is right, the radisson in longueuil (try pronouncing that without an english accent!) is your better bet between the two.

and take it from a former montrealais... he/she is also right about it being less preferable to a property downtown.

one correction, there are more than two subway stops downtown from longueuil... you're actually starting out on the yellow line which was built for expo 67 and only has three stops in total. it connects you to an island in the middle of the st-lawrence river and berri-uqam station, where you can conveniently connect to one of two downtown lines, the green and the orange. berri-uqam is actually located on the edge of the village.
