Great question, thank you for asking. Since I don't know Paris that well, I don't know exactly how to answer. Here's the agenda:

We arrive at CDG on June 10 at 2:07 PM and leave CDG 1:25 PM the next day. I just want to show my boys (11 & 13) as many of the best sites as comfortably possible, particularly the Eiffel tower because it is iconic. So I was thinking it is best to stay somewhere between there and the center of Paris so we could also walk around at night and not be far from a place to crash.

However, if the metro is easy and runs late, we could stay further off as we will only be sleeping in the hotel and can carry around our stuff as necessary (this is a "layover" so our main luggage will be checked through). It would seem that we couldn't really see much in the morning, but I thought we could try or at least walk around bit, but I would want to get to the airport in plenty of time just in case (not sure if you can take a metro straight there or need to change somewhere).

Thanks for your willingness to help!
