Speaking about food, I've never managed to have a dinner on board an SQ transpacific flight. SQ1 SFO/HKG leaves at 1:40am or 11:45pm depending on whether it's summer or winter, and SQ2 HKG/SFO leaves at late 9ish pm. Past dinner time and supper it was. If you rush to HKG airport after a full day of errands / business meeting and expect a full meal on board the flight to SFO, you might be in for a surprise.
