Trying to plan a trip for 4 to Europe in May '12. We'd all like to travel business..but too costly. Economy comfort sounds good...but can't get a price for it from Delta. Told me I'd have to purchase tickets first, then find out if available and at what cost. Tried calling again...and talked to a rep who told me add on for e.c. is anywhere from $60-130 one way, but again can't tell availability till economy seat booked. Unfortunately the flight segment we really need it for is 10-1/2 hrs long ... so we all would really like the e.c. and 2 have said they don't want to go without it. Guess I'll have to purchase and then refund if price is as much as seat guru says it might -- 85% of economy. None of us have status with Delta. Anyone else who had to pay for e.c. -- is this the process you went through? Any help would be much appreciated!
