So you're sure I'll be okay to leave China via the Guangzhou (Baiyun) Airport with just my HRP?
Eh? HRPs can be used "at any manned immigration checkpoint". I'm not sure how that could possibly be stated more clearly.
You'll need a passport of some sort to leave (and a visa for wherever you are flying to if you need one on that passport) otherwise the airline won't let you board.
