Extended breakfast is, as stated, a plate of cold cuts and cheeses along with a warm breakfast pastry/croissant. PRG is band 3 I think, I've never had extended breakfast on band 3, but you may get a full sized tray with a fruit plate, too, but not sure about that.
Afternoon tea to PRG will be two finger sandwiches (i.e. tiny), a teardrop sized scone, and a decent-sized cake/tart or similar. If you're well behaved, the crew might let you have another scone.
You do have a third option, which is requesting a special meal. I'm not an expert on this, but I understand that if you request a Kosher meal on the afternoon tea flight, you will receive a proper meal as opposed to sandwiches, but I may be wrong and others will I'm sure confirm or shoot me down
I prefer the extended breakfast.
I made an error of judgment though requesting a seafood meal in place of the extended breakfast on an LHR - TXL flight. Imagine the smugness of my friend who was served a plate piled high with smoked salmon and cream cheese rather than the cold cuts. My naked salad with three geriatric prawns paled in comparison and there were no extra meals to replace it, of course
