Well, I do recall various posts putting the CO BF and UA F
soft product on at least a similar level, if not slightly favoring CO BF. Assessment of a soft product is more subjective than assessment of a hard product (though both have objective/subjective elements). Not having flown UA F but based on what I read/see about the catering/service, it does seem the products are similar in some ways.
I do agree that, at least on the objective measures I can assess from my computer, that UA's F seat is >> CO's BF seat (flat bed), I think that would be difficult to dispute.
Then of course when you factor
value into the equation, it's certainly possible that BF comes out better overall.
But I do disagree with the statement that
"many CO loyalists push the line that the CO J lieflats combined with CO's soft product makes for a product better than UA 3-cabin F" particularly the "many" part.
But I don't think anyone here really wanted to turn this into another CO vs. UA thread.
