Yesterday I booked two first returns LHR - MIA for next Oct using my Amex 2-4-1 voucher for 2011 and 150,000 miles. As usual I then priced up the tickets as fully flex first on the same flights and was shocked to see the cost come in at £20,219.52. I looked at what a pair of fully flex first returns to SIN would cost on those dates and it was significantly less.

I just could not believe the price that BA was asking for these tickets to MIA.
