New HSBC Visa Infinite and complimentary JetQuay access
Miles per dollar aside, gotta say the new HSBC Visa Infinite card (Singapore) is loaded with fantastic travel benefits. For me signing up to this card was a no brainer.
The two things that got me excited is the complimentary use of Changi's JetQuay service and expedited immigration clearance in a whole bunch of cities accross Asia (e.g. Bangkok).
Now admittedly, Changi is a breezer compared to other airports so what's the use of gate side pick up when you only have to walk 5-10 minutes to immigrations, and why need dedicated immigration clearance if the existing immigration counter is so efficient (especially if you are a residence of Singapore like me). But still, who would complain for a free escort service. And for me, since I drive to Changi and park my car there (I know, cab fares are cheap it doesn't make any economical sense to spend S$25 per day for parking at the terminal, but that's me), the 10 days complimentary parking at the JetQuay terminal is a benefit itself.
And then, there's the meet and greet and expedited immigration service at the immigration zoo locations like Bangkok, Jakarta, Delhi etc. etc. What a peace of mind! I still can't believe they are offering this complimentary.
All for this for S$248 per annum (S$488 usual). Unbelievable.
My card just arrived and I've already booked the JetQuay service for my Haneda trip next week. Although Haneda is an even more breezer airport than Changi (on top of that I already have automated clearance through immigration in Japan), just for the experience I've also booked the meet and greet service at Haneday. Will post the experience when I'm back from the trip.
So, if you are based in Singapore and have been invited by HSBC to try out the card, I would say you go for it.
P.S. There's a sign-on bonus of a Sony tablet or 30,000 miles.
