I had a feeling it is really just my bad luck, but it seem that almost everytime I took an earlier flight, I end up arrive later than the original one.

I am referring to Rapidair flights - between Toronto and Ottawa/Montreal. Over my 10 years in business travel, I had standby (free or paid) for an eariler so many times - just so I can get home eariler -- an hour is an hour more at home.

I would say 75% of the time if I do take the flight immediately before my orginal one, there is always something stupid that I end up arrive later.

So I thought I would ask this question to the group here - is it just my bad luck or does that happen also a lot for other Rapidair traveller.
