Then you're fine (as long as those seats are okay for you).
You will get down in Narita, clear a quick transit security then go to the connecting gate to board the Chicago flight which may or may not be the same aircraft. 2 boarding passes. Physically will feel like 2 flights with a connection. I recommend a stop in ANA's lounge for food/drink, or UA's for their shower facilities (or both!)
As mentioned above, it's United 882 operated by United on United pre-merger aircraft, so slapping a CO 882 on it is unecessary confusion.
