Yea, the key here is that there is no loss to IAD fliers. Those who would like to still connect through LHR riding widebodies accross the pond can do so, those who would prefer a direct can enjoy it on the Absolutely Fabulous CO 752.
IMHO this is a good use of those planes. Now, if they swap out one of the aforementioned widebodies from IAD-LHR, then I'll be reaching for my pitchfork.
